Which banks are FACT-NetCord accredited?

The process that a bank must go through to receive FACT-NetCord accreditation is long and difficult.

FACT-NetCord must first review all the documentation and the record keeping processes of the bank. Then an exhaustive inspection follows to make certain that all the standards are consistently met. The inspection is not limited to the internal processes of the bank (processing, storage) but also to parallel activities such as the collection of the umbilical cord blood within the maternity hospital, the transport of the units from the maternity hospital to the laboratory, the transport of the transplant unit from the laboratory to the transplantation center, etc.

The first family bank in Greece to have received FACT-NetCord accreditation is Stem-Health Hellas which is located within Hygeia hospital.
